Mary Catherine has been an adjunct faculty member at Hillsborough Community College and The University of Tampa teaching legal research and writing and paralegal studies classes.

She is an avid supporter of the Straz Performing Arts Center, is a member of the Rotary of Tampa-Westshore, and has served on various boards and leads many projects at her children's schools and her church.
